Replacing Hansen and Higgins is Arnott, who is over the hill and does not help us get younger. Burish would not be popular in the dressing room. I realize they are professionals, but there is a limit on who you can bring in without tension. Why create problems for nothing? SJ would not make that deal as well, and it doesn't really benefit either teams. We lose our 3rd line for 1 second line player. FLA wouldn't do their deal either. And how is Gill and improvement over Hansen and Ballard? He is a good PK guy, but so is Hansen. I wouldn't even know if I would do Gill for Ballard straight up. Ballard still has the potential to improve, Gill, while still a good player, is nearing the end of his career in the next few years. Also, you've continually posted in the wrong section.
