Alex Burrows 14
To Van: Danny Briere To Phi: Mason Raymond, Bill Sweatt, Ed Jovanovski, Fla 1st, Fla 2nd To Fla: Roberto Luongo Van gets a playoff performer at an expensive contract with 3 years left on it. Ability to be a playmaker. Phi sheds some cap space but more so at the end of the season as raymonds contract is expiring and he could be let go or given a pay cut, they also get a much needed dman who would help now and they get two picks in the top 60 in a supposedly deep draft and a prospect and raymond would be the lineup replacement for briere. Fla gets an elite goalie who wants to return to florida for an aging d man and two soon to be prospects. Van would do it Fla would do it Phi is the question mark. It would probably have to be tweaked so give me your sugestions and i will edit it.

Mack Attack
Good dman and a first and second for Lu.We give Raymond,Lu and sweatt.that is nothing
c00kies
If you remove Briere the trade falls apart because he is the only one coming our way.

Master Mind
Philly wants to contend now, so I doubt they would trade Briere when Raymond would be the one taking his spot. I like the idea of getting Briere, but it just doesn't make sense for Philly.

Franksedin
This wouldn't happen. Flyers wouldn't move a good playoff guy for an aging dman that might retire soon and cont. to count against the cap. As much as jovos salary is bad it is only bad for a team that spends to the cap every year...someone like the Canucks or flyers. For Florida that has an internal salary and doesn't want to spend lots it helps them reach the cap. Plus if he retires they don't pay him and helps them reach the cap floor....it's a great contract for him
Jägermeister
Can't really see Philly or Florida taking this deal.
