BurnabyJoe
If you wanted to make roughly 25/hr, we're afraid of heights, and had average grades in high school... What would you do? I have no problem going back to school. Just as I said, very average grades.
rampage
Just some advice. Don't worry about getting it right the first time you can always change what you want to do. If you go in thinking just the wage you might end up doing something that you'll end up hating.

Kamero89
I skipped college for a good paying job initially, and hated it. I have no gone back to school. Biggest advice I can give is find something you like doing. This is what you'll be doing for 8+ hours a day 5 days a week for the rest of your life. BurnabyJoe
With little car knowledge ( but some ) and no real hard-on for cars, would being a mechanic be well... stupid? Also I like being my own boss, but I guess who doesn't. I'm not afraid of hard work, and would like to stay local. (Greater Van)

nucklehead
Become a professional hockey player. Almost always work at night, get to meet girls in several major N.American cities, you get summers off anywhere in the world you want to go and the pay is way over 25.00/hr. even at the lowest level and even if you're locked out. shawn antoski
good luck finding a trades job with no background training here in the lower mainland. if u want to make some real money quick and fast. Leave BC, go anywhere in alberta(at one point nightshift drive thru workers were making $20 an hour) or go to Saskatchewan they are booming like crazy now. If you don't want to leave BC go up north to kittamat or fort jt john. live in a dry camp for 9 months and you can come back with $7000 a month. other then that go to BCIT and become a skilled tradesman, then look for jobs in the GVRD

لني
With the housing bubble deflating housing related trades might not be the best options as supply of tradesmens and demand for them will not be pretty. What about a gravedigger? Somebodys gotta dig all them ditches for the baby boomerd.
