Kings on a 4 game win streak and back in the picture.

Was 11 points out of 8th seed, am 5 points away now. Hopefully I can put a few more wins and need Anaheim, Minnesota and Winnipeg to lose :bigblush:

Also, Heatley with 7G 4A 11PTS in his last 4 games, unreal.

Tomas Hertl with 3G and 2A in last 3 games, fitting in quite well with Gaborik.

2014 VHL Entry Draft Rankings - EHM FINAL

So Sam Reinhardt gets bumped from the #1 spot eh, wow..

Also Where is that 6'9 Defenseman ? Last time he was ranked top 5, is he not a draftable player now because he was created ?

o.O The biggest player in the top-30 is Ekblad at 6'5", 230 lbs. Where'd you find the 6'9" dman?

And FTR, the biggest ('tallest') draftee is 6'7".

He's only 17 and still developing...5'9"/207 is a pretty stocky build for a PWF.

Edit: Made some changes to a couple 'player projections' in the top-10 ranking.

Chimon will be providing us with write-ups on the top 30 players !

I'll also be doing a set of rankings on NHL 13 and I will be explaining how scouting will work with NHL 13 soon

Wait so how many different scouting things are we getting?

first it was nail with his chl players, now chimon with an ehm created class, and now a class created out of NHL 13?

My impression was that UMB and Yakupov were both doing rankings based on NHL13 (UMB with N.A. players, Yakupov with Euros), and I was doing the EHM thing. If it's like that, then this is going to be a big draft class...Whoever has the most picks is going to have a blast.

Seems like just a bunch of confusion. I don't mind different rankings, but the player pool should be the same

Ranked #125 in EHM...Unfortunately he's not that good in EHM. Probably because the latest roster/prospects are based on the '11-12 season, so the 2012 (Yakupov) draftees are the most accurate, followed by the 2013 (MacKinnon) class. I also don't think JHS is projected to be top-5 anymore from what I've read...maybe top 10-20. EHM also has funny ways of ranking players sometimes.

I assume SOB would use RL info for prospects in addition to whatever I've written for them to create accurate players in STHS, so I wouldn't worry too much as far as picking a 'well-known' player late in the draft like JHS (You guys are welcome to take him in the top-5 if you feel like it). SOB has been pretty fair with creating prospects as long as you provide relevant material for them.

So can we have UMB.Chimon and Nail all come up with a draft class that is combined to avoid some confusion ???

PS CHimon this is who i was talking about. From a earlier report, his name is Adam Roberts..

1. Sam Reinhart - C - [SNP] 11/06/95 6'2/187 - R
2. Aaron Ekblad - D - [OFD] 2/7/96 6'3/207 - R
3. Jake Virtanen - RW - [PLY] 8/16/96 6'0/180 - R
4. Adam Roberts - D - [DFD] 1/14/96 6'9/235 - L

Eh, you guys/SOB decide. If you want intersperse players from Yakupov/UMB's rankings into the EHM list then go ahead. I don't know how to rank players from different systems relative to each other, especially when I don't know much about the players on Yak's list.

This is preferred, but I know at this point it is harder to come up with a full real life draft class.

Like I said earlier, prospects are not my thing, and I am very happy that many of you have stepped up to help with the draft prospects.

Different rankings are fine, it actually gives more strategy to the drafters, but we need there to be roughly the same players in each draft list.

I will support whatever Chimon, UMB, and Nail decide upon.

Besides simming, I wont be online for much in the coming days, my schedule is packed with assignments until Thursday

What I had originally planned - since we know little about the '14 prospects I had planned for this:

Nail Yakupov combs through the whl, ohl and qmjhl bantam/midget drafts

Chimon does a simulation on EHM, posts the 2014 draft rankings

I will do the european rankings on NHL 13, as well as add a list on the chl for secondary reference

Problem is there are going to be players in NHL13/EHM that aren't in either game. Maybe if you and Yakupov give me a list of 30 players from NHL13 with their description/profile, I'll add some of them to my top-30 and the rest can just be added to the EHM draft list.

Or you could just use my top-30 and put them in your NHL13 draft list. Either way.
