Honestly, watching that game I was much more impressed with McEneny than Corrado and that isn't even an insult to Frank. He played sooo steady and had really quick hands on the defensive end, breaking up a lot of rushes just with his stick. Last game they were both caught flat footed on the second Knights goal but this game they were both great.

^^^ good to hear. i think kitchener's top 3 guys would be mceneny, iafrate, and fanelli. he should have a really good chance at sticking on that top pair. i don't see him falling past the 2nd pair this season. with good health, he could have a good year this year.

Huge game for McEneny today.

Gets the first assist on the tying goal, and the game winning goal against the Knights.

The GWG was in OT as well! Not sure how our players on the Knights did, but good for McEneny after having been injured.

Tyson Giuriato @TysonGiuriato

#Canucks prospect Evan McEneny has been traded from Kitchener to Kingston. That's two #Canucks prospects traded in the last 24 hours.

The other being Liberati.

EDIT:

Frontenacs Trade DiPerna to Kitchener for McEneny

Kingston-General Manager Doug Gilmour announced today that the Kingston Frontenacs have traded defenceman Dylan DiPerna and a 2nd round selection to the Kitchener Rangers in exchange for defenceman Evan McEneny. In 20 games this season, DiPerna, a native of Mississauga, Ontario, registered 1 goal and 2 assists for the Frontenacs. McEneney, who was Kitchener's 2nd round choice in the 2010 OHL Priority Selection. The Hamilton, Ontario native has 2 goals, 5 assists, and 23 penalties in minutes in 15 games this season with the Rangers.

"It's very tough choice letting Dylan go, he's a great kid and he will do well in Kitchener," said General Manager Doug Gilmour. "Evan brings us some much-needed blue line experience and he's a great addition to our team."

Along with DiPerna, Kingston is sending the Rangers back their 2nd round pick in 2015.

McEneny is described as an offensively-minded defenceman who recorded a career high 24 points in 2012-13. He has the ability to make a good first pass and join the rush, and his size allows him to play an effective physical game. He was signed as a free agent by the Vancouver Canucks in September 2012.
