The Washington Capitals would like to welcome Patrick Sharp to our organization. We feel his leadership and dedication to hockey will be a tremendous asset. Marion Hossa spoke highly of his leadership abilities and we agree. We have offered Sharp to wear an "A" for our organization moving forward and join our captain, Ovechkin and other assistant, Backstrom as leaders for our franchise.

We would also like to welcome back Orlov to our organization, we value his services and tremendously and jumped at the chance to re-aquire someone we feel has the ability and raw skill set to be a top pairing offensive defenseman in this league for years to come.

We had extremely high hopes for Kreider, we know he will be a superstar player in this league in the near future and we wish him the best in Chicago.

We are supposed to be up to the start of the regular season, today is supposed to be editing lines etc. Seems like we are still in UFA mode. I've let Trav know, and hopefully he can sim shortly so we can still stay on schedule
