The Washington Capitals wanted to make sure the Vancouver Canucks were able to go on their extravagant world tour this June. Unfortunately they have to attend the NHL entry draft. The Washington Capitals felt bad for Vancouver and wanted to make their dream come true.

Washington has gratefully accepted their 2013 6th rounder for our 2014 6th rounder so Vancouver can now have fun in June as they will no longer be required to attend the draft as they have no more 2013 draft picks. Bon Voyage!
