Jets have Olli Jokinen rated 82 on the block.... perfect fit in your top six! Can play center and wing, in a scoring or checking role, excellent on faceoffs, great veteran prescence, you name it!

I am looking for either a right shot dman rated 80+ back with cap hit of under $3 M OR draft picks and/or prospects back because I need to shed some salary. I will listen to all offers and pick the best one for our organization.

PM all trade offers as the Jets management will consider all of our options!

Alright.

I think it's dumb that Edmonton offered Rask so much.

I also think it's dumb to penalize somebody a bunch of 1st Round Picks for signing someone.

Just don't be an idiot. Don't throw players to the minors if they can easily fit on your team. We will be monitoring all the GM's. If something comes up we will assess the situation of why the GM is sending the player to the minors and take whatever action needs to be taken.

mpt I don't get why you're off the BoG, but that's your decision and I have to respect it. This may have been a few pages of argument, but when you are in charge of a league like this there will be stupidity if you don't fully know all of the GM's involved.

mpt, you've been the most help to me so far.

I'm sorry it took me so long to respond to all of this today. I had a hell of a day personally. I tried hours ago to deal with this, but I read a couple of pages and had to go. I just read the rest now.

Yes, Edmonton didn't do anything wrong, but if were to happen in a real-life situation, I guarantee you that the league would have veto the transaction. Since, we can't do that in the game, the best way to deal with this is that we treat this like a trade. Maybe Edmonton doesn't have to send 4 1st rounders, but he needs to send something equally significant as Rask.
