I've added a poll to the thread on whether to turn waivers off or keep them on.

The CPU puts players on waivers while simming that regularly you guys wouldn't.

Keith Ballard, Nabokov, Poti are among them.

I would be pissed if I traded for Ballard and the game put him on waivers. Obviously someone would claim him.

I voted off in good faith that someone doesn't just bury a big contract and calls them up during the playoffs to overpower their team since cap doesn't matter in the postseason

No, he means off. I'm with him, I think we can trust that people won't abuse it, but the game itself is never going to stop causing problems.

If you voted off, would't that mean any team can bury a big contract without the risk of having that person claimed? I think you want waivers on.

I just logged on to Ottawa and i have no trades to be processed. I guess if you request a trade and it gets simmed before I reply then the trade is cancelled

I'm not sure how to vote because some teams will just sign every UFA and bury players they dont want but dont want to lose in the minors. Thats not fair either.

How about you can only place a claim if the person posts in the thread and says they're on waivers?

Oli Maatta, Derik Puliot must be traded! Can be one of them or both of them, I need a difference maker coming back my way that will help me win a cup.

Joe Colbourne and Tyler Kennedy are others that could be traded for upgrades on C.
