Undefeated with Varlamov, who's yet to let in more than a goal in a game.

1-3 with Poulin.

God I hope Varlamov doesn't go down for any extended period of time.

Also never mind on the Upshall claim. I looked into him more and he's not what my team's looking for right now.

I'm putting the CAR/WPG one through. The other one would put you over the cap. Just to let others know, the Jokinen trade may seem a little unbalanced but it is essentially a cap dump.

I needed cap space and got the best I could for Jokinen. There really wasn't much interest out there, but nevertheless I am satisfyed in what I got in return.

I'm looking to move Bachman or Bobrovsky.

I keep putting all 3 of my goalies on my roster because they are all in the 80's, but the CPU keeps sending Bobrovsky down because he's an 82. Since we have the rule about sending an overall that high into the minors, I need to get rid of a goaltender.

Also, the best lines keeps putting Bachman as my #1 over Brodeur. Bachman is playing worse than Brodeur is. He doesn't deserve the #1 over him.

Until I trade a goalie, I'll just keep calling my goalies back up to the team. It should be fine with you all, as it isn't me sending him down.

Also, I don't really get the goalie overalls in this game. None of Brodeurs attributes are under 85, yet his overall is 83.

Anyone claiming Upshall? NYI isn't interested anymore.

Im pretty sure you can keep him in the minors as long as you count his salary towards your cap as if he was on your team. Player only needs to clear waivers if you're trying to free up some cap.

It's just getting really annoying. I have Bobrovsky as an 82 on my team behind Brodeur at 83. I want Brodeur as the starter. He plays very well for his overall.

Whenever the game does best lines, it sends Bobrovsky down, calls Bachman up....and Bachman's an 83 so it makes him the starter giving Brodeur no playing time.

Bachman hasn't had a great start to the year and I don't know if I can rely on him. Brodeur has played great so I want him to start.

Only 1: Don't bury players in the minors to free up cap space (in other words, play fair).

You can bury who you want so long as he's 77 overall and under. Anything above must be placed on waivers like what I did with Gomez. If no one claims the player placed on waivers then you're home free.

We welcome Gomez and his Giant salary to the Saddledome. His salary is really all we wanted just so we could get away from cap floor and make soom moves. But hey never know he might surprise us and pot in more than 2 goals.

Pheonix Coyotes have claimed Upshall off waivers. Dallas has yet to make a trade or get him in the roster under the cap.

Upshall is now a Pheonix Coyote for a 7th round pick. Dallas complete the trade.

Teams need to post waiver claims in the forum so they are all public. If another team by midnight tonight wants to also claim Gomez, we will do a randomized draw.

Its not a first come first served type of deal.

nah just first come first serve. we have to keep the dicking around to a minimum. Calgary has Gomez. Trade has been made. Waiting for sim.

Also why does a team claiming a player off waivers need to give up a 7th? It's 7th for 7th and the player.

In my case it was Gomez for Teravainen since he was owed to me.

Wade Redden is now on waivers for a 7th

He is a 77 so it is not necessary but if you need cap he is available.
He is on his last year of his contract.

Thats fine the player and a 7th for a 7th.

About the first come first served approach, we'll let Trav decide. I honestly don't care either way. If we want to be fairest, we should wait for 24 hours, but then like you said we are dicking around. Either way, we just need some guidelines to follow.
