Make sure that you have no players 80 or over in the minors or there will be penalties. I don't know how much cap space you have, I don't think it was a lot.

About burying players over a certain rating, let's let trav decide how we are going to facilitate this.

We could do a posting in the thread where the player is offered for a 7th rounder and if no team claims him after 48 hours the player can be buried.

If multiple teams want to claim him we can either do it random or to the worst team.

If teams are found with players who are waiver eligible and in the minors over the threshold they should be penalized a first round pick

You have to put them in the minors, so you would be punished for having a good team.

You need to offer them to other teams. It's unlikely you will have a team like that without being over he cap.

Teams In the NHL can't bury good players in the minors, so we shouldn't be allowed either.

If no one else wants them for a 7th rounder then yes they can be sent down.

This BTW isn't official just something a lot of us talked about. We'll let the commissioner decide.

BTW Dallas it says you are over the cap by over 2 million, how did this happen? You are going to have to manually waiver people or make a trade to get cap compliant.

I know you were talking about manually wavering upshall, good choice at his salary I doubt he'll be claimed.

80 is too good to be allowed to place in the minors whenever you want. That is a 2nd/3rd line player. below 77 is more realistic because they are depth/4th liners.
