One is also a couple years younger, which matters. Couture will cap at 86-87. Duchene could be 90-91 easily in a few years. Either way, he's better, and younger, with more room to grow.

Happy with the trade. Won't lie. but more because I am willing to sacrifice my draft to win while my team is in it's prime. So, the 1st and 2nd don't mean the world to me. I traded a 2nd for an 84 Leopold last year, I'm pretty sure that the bump from 84-85 is worth a first.

The trade seems like Colorado won it but not by much.

Vlasic is definitely better than two players rated 3.5 stars as the first rounder will likely be over 24.

I wouldn't veto this trade, I just personally think Colorado came slightly out on top.

In comparison this is nothing like other trades that have been done.
