They'll stay with the Canucks. Maybe a short 2 year deal to start off then (like Linden did) continue to sign 1 year deals until they decide it is time to call it a day (or they give the Vancouver the cup they deserve ;) )

Money will not be an issue as $6.1M is already a great deal/steal for us. They'll obviously take less as time passes and they are slowly declining in their offensive skills....

As we all know the Sedins' contracts of 6.1M a season expires after the 2013-2014 season, on the verge of turning 34 years old.

At this point a few things will have happened:

- Both Sedins will have played 13 seasons in the NHL, all with the Vancouver Canucks.

- Both Sedins will more than likely be 1st and 2nd in franchise scoring.

- Both Sedins will more than likely be 2nd and 3rd in franchise games played.

- Both Sedins will continue to be 1st and 2nd in Assists for the franchise.

- Daniel Sedin will possibly be 1st in goals scored for the franchise, as well as 1st in PP goals.

So with all of these accolades acquired along with several individual awards each, and a desire to both retire Canucks, and finish their careers with MODO in Sweden, do you believe that the Sedins will retire regardless of a Stanley Cup win or not?

Do you think they have a multi-year contract in mind to continue playing in the NHL? Or do you think they possibly sign a 1 year deal?

Edit: For the argument of placing all relevant possibilities in the poll, I added the Sedins going to another team.

Games played is now

Linden 1138

Smyl 896

Naslund 894

Henrik 892

Daniel 859

3 full seasons of 82 games ties Henrik with Linden. Daniel is 33 games behind. 4 seasons, and they surpass Linden. They tend to stay healthy so 75+ games per season (really or more) is not at all out of reality

Very probable they will be 1&2 in games played, with Linden holding 3rd for a long time to come.
