Basically, who's got the highest trade value? (I know that all of them are untouchable, but still.)

Crosby..I have yet to see Giroux or Stamkos put up 120+ points in a season, or 37 points in 22 games after returning from major concussions.

I say Stamkos. 60 goals already and he's only 22.

Crosby is very talented, but his concussion history is definitely concerning.

As people have said, Giroux if we're talking bang for buck. But the best player is Crosby.

Giroux' contract is only good for two more years, after that he'll be making a lot more.

I'd go with Stamkos if only because Crosby's one head injury away from retirement. Stammer is a top scorer every year.

Stamkos. But why isn't Malkin in the discussion? I would go Stamkos, Malkin, Crosby, Giroux

True enough, but isn't any player one hit away from having his career ended?

A completely blown out knee, the loss of an eye, anything that puts the player below the NHL's minimum requirements will end a career. Does a head injury have a completely different impact on the player's life? Sure, but either ends a career.

G.

Crosby's health like others said is my only concern, Stammer's a close 2nd and then Giroux.

Pretty much this. Crosby is the best player. Stamkos is the best scorer. Giroux is best value in the league.

Crosby claims to be back to 100%. If that's the case, it's him by a country mile. I'd take my chances with the most dominate player since Lemieux, even with his supposed risk factor.

This, and for the time being don't discount Pavel Datsyuk just yet. He may be getting up there in years but his game is based upon undoubted game-breaking skill, defensive awareness and smarts (not that he's not physical). He's quite a force defensively (resulting in win so many Selkes won) while also being an offensive catalyst, so when the game's on the line, whether his team's up a goal or down one, you know #13 with the Winged Wheel will be on the ice.

2012, meet Matthew 24:36-47!

Crosby is the better player but the concussion hurts it. Stamkos is only 22 and already a superstar. So I say Stamkos but that is a close one

I'm saying Aladeen a lot because http://forum.canucks...dpost__10922428

I bet when Schneider turns 38, he will have broken all of Luongo's records.

In terms of trade value...

Stamkos
Crosby
Giroux

If Giroux gets a couple more 90+ seasons he can surpass Crosby barring Crosby is oft injured,

Crosby is still the most talented person on the ice. If he can fully recover from his concussion, then he is clearly the most valuable player in the world.

Even with the concussion, i'd still give the #1 slot to Sidney.

1.Crosby
2.Stamkos
3.Giroux (Giroux has yet to crack 95 pts or 40 goals. The other two guys do that in their sleep)

When healthy no one comes close to Crosby's level. Stamkos could get there in a couple seasons.

In my eyes drouin is overrated he can score in the qmjhl but did nothing in last two gold medal games that canada lost. Fox will be better pro than him talk to me in five yrs

Gaudreau has one NHL goal whereas all your "prized" prospects have none.

ryan kesler is going to the chicago blackhawks ...       quote me on it
