I like the Erin and Pete storyline.

And if they keep destroying Jim and Pam I will burn Utica to the ground!

The Office isn't The Office without Michael Scott. Dragging out a sitcom never works out. Should have ended on a high note instead of the weak standards it's at now.

It's not the same, that's for sure...but I still like it. This season seems more about developing and settling relationships than anything else, and I really like it. Sad that it's coming to a close :sadno:

Their biggest mistake was trying to centre the show around a new boss (i.e. Andy). None could fill the void of Michael. Instead, they should have just paid a little more attention to each individual character (similar to what they have done since Andy has left).

I like the multiple story lines (Jim/Pam, Darrel/Warehouse girl, Pete/Erin, Toby/Nellie)

OMG we could've had McKeown!

I think Virtanen was a terrible pick given that he's out for 6 months which will hinder his development. You don't pick someone at #6 under that circumstance, along with the fact that he was given a 3/5 IQ (aka he's dumb).

God dammit Benning. WHY VIRTANEN? Terrible move.

Down by the River - Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young.

Not liking the Pam/Jim/Boom Guy storyline. Not because I care whether Jim and Pam stay together, I just don't find it interesting. The whole Jim/Pam/Roy thing dragged out long enough and this seems really forced.

The Jim/Pam/ other dude thing is happening too late. Last season, late in the season, it's obvious it's going nowhere.

Dwight was HILARIOUS in the new salesman hiring episode and the warehouse guy drawing on Pam's painting was an okay episode.

I just can't wait for ANGELA AND DWIGHT to have married and have babies. They are so meant for one another it's kind of really disgusting.

Is she a dress wearer or a pants wearer? Could you share a rowboat? Could a rowboat support her? Would an average size rowboat support her without capsizing?

The whole farm storyline, along with the cast, were for a potential spinoff featuring Dwight, his sister and brother that ended up failing to get picked up by NBC. I dunno, I think I could have given that show a watch.

Yeah - as g_bassi said that was the 'pitch' for a Dwight spinoff.

Weirdly though - that was supposed to be the 5th episode of this season IF the Dwight spin-off was picked up, but since it wasn't... the episode was put in limbo. (that was the 17th episode this season)

Then it was decided to air it, but re-film some scenes that made sense in the seasons storyline - thus the Todd Packer parts were just recently filmed and added.

Next new episode isn't until April 4.... then should be a (almost) straight run until the end of the series.

Didn't they just take like 3 weeks off? Dumb. I like the show, but I kind of just want it to end already.

I was enjoying some of this season's episodes despite the show being a shell of it's former self but yesterday was awful.

Another break. They're dragging it out too much.

I waited for three weeks for this one, and now I have to wait another three?

They're going to drag the show out and I'm going to lose interest. Watch the Office or the Stanley Cup Playoffs? Decision is easy for me.

I really wish MIchael could come back for the last episode or something. Maybe they all get together for a viewing party of the first episode of the documentary as it airs or something. I miss Michael Scott :(.

Well, that was a terrible episode in comparison to previous seasons. Only Nellie's "suck my nutz" comment about Andy was the only thing that made me chuckle.

Funny, whenever I think about "the good ol' days" of the American Office, the first episode I think of is Michael Scott's movie episode about Goldface. "That's How you do the Scarn" was the funniest thing on the show in years.

Good ol' days? That was season 7. Probably my least favourite.

I thought last night's episode was great.

By "good ol' days," I mean "the last good episode."As far as last night's episode being "great." Wow, the word "great" sure doesn't mean what it used to anymore. If last night's was great, then so is every episode of Whitney.

Don't pay attention to that guy, he's just a wannabe critic.

The last episode was very good, I loved the parts where Jim and Darryl are with Ryan Howard going over his script. That's was pretty funny. Also, Andy freaking out over all the comments posted on the "Promo" was good too.

Well, I was a music critic and film critic for a little over 4 years, until I decided to focus on something that paid more money. Old habits die hard I suppose.Nobody has to pay attention to anyone on message boards. We post because we want to share our opinion. People don't have to agree.

I REALLY hope they get Michael Scott back on for the final episode. Never have been a huge fan of the show since he left, but been watching to see how everything all plays out. Would be a perfect ending to show how Michael is doing.

I thought the last episode was pretty good. Quite like the idea of the characters watching themselves on the documentary. They have always have had little references through the seasons to the cameras and "if this ever airs", and seems like a good way to end "The Office".

That last episode was one of the best in the season. I didn't really care about what was going on with Jim and Pam but it was somewhat worrisome.

However, the rest of the episode was just great!

The whole bit with Andy and the agency, Dwight and Dwight Jr. Vs Stanley, and Oscar and Angela were really enjoyable.

Hmm. I enjoyed bits of it but the Jim and Pam parts were awful.

Also, why would Andy be in the initial reviews when he didn't make an appearance until season 3? His parts were a bit meh as well.

Not a bad episode. For the first time in a few years, Andy was actually funny. Thought the paper airplane echoed the tone of earlier seasons, which was a nice change. Erin losing it was pretty funny, though I thought she would have an all out tantrum. Highlight was definitely when Toby got hit in the eye by a paper airplane. As with any episode, if Toby has a cameo, he's generally the best part.

Low Point: Jim and Pam. Their "marital rift" is what is commonly referred to as "a speedbump" or "an inconvenient living situation." Hardly anything to turn into a major storyline.
