Seems like a good place for some suggestions on a hike.

What would you guys recommend for a 2 day hike? Most likely looking to start on a Friday and end on Sunday. Just looking for some cool places to go. Would really like something with awesome views! Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Are you looking to go camp along the trail?

Yeah. Or hike up to a place and set up camp and then do a day hike from there the next day.

Any suggestions? I see you've done a lot.

Depends how far you want to drive but Joffre lakes is a 15 minute drive north of Pemberton and is absolutely spectacle of a place to be. Its an 1-2 hour hike in the campsite at the 3rd lake under the Glacier but afterwards the hike to Tzil Glacier the next day is much more challenging, about a 6-8 hour round trip.

Upper Joffre Lake. You camp on the north shore of the lake, just under the glacier in the photo.

It does get a bit busy on the weekend but Its also only $5 per person to stay a night in the back-country, payable here at http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/explore/parkpgs/joffre_lks/ or in the cash box on the trail head

I have a trip report of it, just a few posts up.

I have been going strong for 10 weeks now and have been to some of the best day hikes.

Nothing beats Wedgemount Lake so far.

Wow ! Awesome vista !

IF you are ever in the St. Mary's Alpine park region do the Dewar creek hike. Such an amazing hike to a secluded hot spring. Cant find my pics unfortunately. On the hike I managed to startle a young black bear and literally bumped into a big horn that night at the hot springs too. He was moon gazing i am sure of it.

The hike is fairly easy until the end . A descent climb through some rough muddy rooted trail. Man I really need to get back to the Rockies !

Wow St.Mary's looks incredible. Definitely on the list of must do's.

Speaking of the Rockies. I just came back from my trip on the 55km Rockwall trail through the Kootenay's.
