MikeyBoy44
Since he signed a contract in Russia, he can't play in the NHL this season if the strike were to end, right?
TOMapleLaughs
I hope so. Tired of seeing non-highlights from the guy.
avelanch
The two pictures are misleading. He's hunched forward in the second picture. When you're standing up, you are less likely to look "fat" than if you were to sit down hunched like that.
TACIC
I can't wait to see one of my favorite guys rippin it up again against my favorite guy, Stamkos. Prediction: Ovechkin: 52 goals, 41 assists, 93 points. Stamkos: 56 goals, 45 assists, 101 points. If it wasn't for the lockout that's wouldst we would probably see. NZCanuck
A couple of seasons ago he mentioned that Russian girls are a lot hotter than NA girls. Clearly he's keeping in shape so he can enjoy the 'offseason' in Russia
Erik Karlsson
Hopefully playing in Russia brings back his passion for the game too.
Bang Bang Boogie
Hopefully. He was one of the most exciting talents to watch in the NHL. Hopefully we can bring up the debate of Crosby vs. Ovechkin again too. It was fun to watch two of the best young players in the world go at it, playing at their best. MoneypuckOverlord
OH gosh, he will light it up no problem in the KHL. KHL's top player the past 3 seasons, was none other then Alex Radulov. Who in the NHL just a top 6 winner, but a star in the KHL. Ovechkin even struggling version of Ovechkin will have no issues in the KHL.

Jaku
It'd be nice to see this guy get back into his old form, he has been pretty lack luster of late, compared to his seasons before.
brewdog
He's shaved his head and looks to be in A LOT better shape then last season. Almost looks like the Ovi from his rookie season.
