RUPERTKBD
No one said he was the "worst ever", guy. People have said he was the "worst Canuck"...and rightfully so. 2nd highest scoring player in NHL history or not, he was still a terrible player and a worse ambassador for this franchise. Riviera82
Pavel Bure was one of the very best for the canucks, mark messier was one of the very worst for the Canucks. End of story.
LukaMui
Worst: 1: most corrupt, bad, evil, or ill <his worst fault> 2a: most unfavorable, difficult, unpleasant, or painful <the worst news> <your worst enemy> b: most unsuitable, faulty, unattractive, or ill-conceived <has the worst table manners> c: least skillful or efficient <the worst person for the job> 3: most wanting in quality, value, or condition <the worst results> Since '94, as a fan, i have hated anything and everything about the Rangers and Messier. Signing Messier was the worst decision as a fan I had ever endured. Seeing the dismantling of our team because the Moose and the Dork (Keenan) wanted it to be their team was even harder to watch. The topic is Worst player to suit up for a Canuck. Not worst player to play as a Canuck. Hands down, to me Messier was the Worst player to suit up as a Canuck. EVER. Bang Bang Boogie
Brent Sopel. He had a penchant for making cross ice passes in front of our own net.
thad
Hands down the worst was Chris Levesque. He was the UBC Thunderbirds third-stringer in the CIS. (Yes, I am taking this thread seriously.)

Mike Vanderhoek
^^^ Allow me to kick things off then... MARK MESSIER! There is no one that was more overhyped, useless, lazy, overpaid underachiever than this guy. And then years after his retirement he even has the nerve to demand money from us. Easily the worst Canuck ever.

oldnews
This one is frickin easy!! Don Cherry. Hands down - the worst Canuck ever!! Looks like a still from a horror flick. And if he doesn't count, don't try to reason with us folks - it was Messier. Clutch - perhaps you found a more appropriate "Did we really need him?" Wh!stler R!der
Keith Carney, just a horrible trade deadline in 06 when we had injuries and missed the playoffs.
