The worst player ever to suit up as a Canuck...

Anyone remember Larry Melnyk?

Towards the end of his time here the fans boo'd every time he touched the puck. I don't recall too many players actually run out of town but he was. The ironic part is that he's from Vancouver.

Edit. One more guy who was run out of town was Robert Nordmark. I seem to recall him getting boo'd after scoring an OT winner.

Ahh memories...

Marc Chouinard...scored hat tricks in his first two games of the season or something absolutely crazy like that in his previous season with the Wild.

Jan Bulis...for a guy that came in with a fair share of expectation after a couple consistent seasons with the habs where he scored 20 goals he made us forget about any hope of that pretty quickly.

As for those throwing Eric Weinrich under the bus, don't forget about Keith Carney, the most that man accomplished in a Canuck uniform was looking like the brother of Todd Bertuzzi.

And to mention another tandem that seemed to be more of a detriment than an asset upon arrival to the team were Byron Ritchie and Brad Isbister, man did they bring zero to the team.

Not necessarily the worst, but:

Brad Isbister

Byron Ritchie

Marc Chouinard

Keith Carney

Eric Weinrench

Geoff Sanderson

Martin Rucinsky

While we can certainly be thankful that Nonis didn't blow up our core to get Brad Richards, he sure had a penchant for poor deadline/FA moves (Disclaimer: can't remember if Nonis was responsible for all of the abovementioned players)
