G-52
Damn he looks good. I'd be surprised if he isn't on the Canucks if the season ever starts.

Tortorella's Rant
Hypothetical: Jensen had 64 points in 80 games in the AHL (Eastside Hockey Manager) during the 2013-2014 season and will be playing for the big club the following season. Would you guys be happy with that output?
WiDeN
I would, but I also wouldn't be surprised if he does a bit better than that after playing in the SEL this year. If we were playing hockey, then I bet he'd have a spot on the Canucks even this year.

WiDeN
Nice play on that goal. He went straight for the net and waited. Obviously a set play, but he had good hands in tight.
Erik Karlsson
Found this on HF boards. In the last 20 years, here are the 10 best goal scoring seasons by Jr. aged players in the SEL: 1) Forsberg (92-93): 23 2) Hornqvist (06-07): 23 3) Naslund (91-92): 22 4) Naslund: (92-93): 22 5) D. Sedin (98-99): 21 6) D. Sedin (99-00): 19 7) Weinhandl (99-00): 15 8) Jensen (12-13): 14 9) Tedenby (09-10): 12 10) Bäckstrom (06-07): 12 On that list, Jensen is the only rookie, though obviously he's older than most of the other guys were in their rookie years. Still not bad for his first taste of pro hockey.

SamJamIam
What isn't directly comparable is the fact that most of the guys ahead of Jensen were tearing it up on MODO, not a crap AIK team. Genuinely impressive numbers.

WHL rocks
Some great players on that list. Jensen is going to be a good one. I'm glad MG is showing patience and letting him develop this year in the SEL.
DownUndaCanuck
Good to see a wide variety of styles of goals. Obviously a great wrist shot but what's most impressive are his goals from in front of the net and his vision to pounce on rebounds. That's how you score in the NHL and in the gritty playoffs which is what gets me most excited about this guy. I say get him into the AHL soon so he can develop a more physical style of play, get used to the smaller ice and slowly transition into a much tighter NHL-style of play.
