FullMetalOilDrum
I love his personality, but you have to wonder whether someone someday will take his head off for his celebrations. I look forward to seeing his celebration upon his first NHL goal though. Will be CRAZY.
MoneypuckOverlord
Good for Yak. Hockey Canada and OHL made the right decision. Yakupov needs to play against men to improve. He has already dominated the OHL. The Oilers, Yak and NHL are all better off with Yak playing in the KHL because he'll be a better player in the NHL when the lockout ends. Rink on Renfrew
Nice moves and a terrific shot! All though the KHL defense leaves much to be desired. Good luck cutting to the middle so freely in the NHL.
WHL rocks
Man this kid is a beauty. Next superstar in the league. Can't wait to see him in an Oiler jersey.
Canuck Surfer
Stay long term? Hasn't he signed with the Oilers??? But who could blame him for wanting a pay cheque in a grown up league versus junior... I highly doubt that he is looking to stay there, and most russian players that decide to go to the KHL this year are just going to be near family and friends for the lockout. There might be a couple that stay, but who cares. If I were in their position I would be doing the same.
