TIGER SINGH
A lot of times when I play MW3, the screen freezes and it says "disc read error", does anyone know about how to fix. Thanks
Gooby
Break the disc in half. It should start working.

c00kies
What system do you use? Do you get the error before the game loads, or does it show up in the middle of the game? Edit: I'd assume to clean the disc and see if that helps.

Xbox
That game is terrible! But here is a legit suggestion, 1) If its for PS3 you are SOL 2) If its for Xbox, install a different disc of MW3 to your HDD and it'll let you use the broken one. I did this with NHL 11 and Fallout: NV

c00kies
So it only occurs online? PS3 is pretty good for not scratching disks, but I'd examine it anyways. Check your network settings too.. If all else fails, google it.

Go Faulk Yourself
If there's a scratch on the disk, what I have always done is put toothpaste on my disk, very softly rub it around the disk and do it in warm water, then wash it off with a cloth that won't scratch the disk, do it for about 1-2 minutes. This has worked many times for me before when my GTA 4 was messed up.
