Okay, so I did a little roster update of my own and created some Canucks players currently in the system for an offline Be A GM, I want your guys opinions on if I was fair and just in my creations:

Kellan Lain (23yrs) 6'6" 222lbs, Left-handed Centerman #39

Grinder, 67 Overall, 3-Star Potential (High)

73 slap shot accuracy 67 deking 70 discipline

76 slapshot power 73 hand-eye 73 off awareness

73 wristshot accuracy 73 passing 70 poise

76 wristshot power 73 puck control

83 acceleration 83 aggressiveness 75 def awareness

80 agility 85 body checking 87 faceoffs

83 balance 80 durability 73 shot blocking

80 endurance 83 fighting skill 72 stick checking

83 speed 83 strength

He's really good at faceoffs and has quickly become the go-to defensive zone player for Arniel. Really quick for a big guy from the game I saw. Decked Komisarek too.

Ludwig Blomstrand (19yrs) 6'2 218lbs, Left-handed, Left-wing #9

Grinder, 65 Overall, 3.5-Star Potential (Mid)

73 slap shot accuracy 70 deking 75 discipline

75 slapshot power 70 hand-eye 73 off awareness

73 wristshot accuracy 73 passing 70 poise

75 wristshot power 73 puck control

85 acceleration 77 aggressiveness 73 def awareness

85 agility 75 body checking 67 faceoffs

78 balance 80 durability 67 shot blocking

80 endurance 65 fighting skill 72 stick checking

85 speed 78 strength

He has NHL speed. Incredibly shifty for his size, like Blake Wheeler. Way better offensively than I initially thought but his game will ultimately be a Jannik Hansen-esque grind it out style if he makes it to the big leagues.

Alexandre Grenier (21 yrs) 6'5" 200lbs, Right-handed, Right Wing #5/55

Playmaker, 61 Overall, 3.5-Star Potential (Low)

70 slap shot accuracy 69 deking 70 discipline

75 slapshot power 70 hand-eye 72 off awareness

73 wristshot accuracy 72 passing 67 poise

75 wristshot power 72 puck control

82 acceleration 76 aggressiveness 70 def awareness

80 agility 70 body checking 67 faceoffs

77 balance 75 durability 65 shot blocking

78 endurance 75 fighting skill 70 stick checking

82 speed 77 strength

Yet again, another big guy with deceptive speed for his size, seems to be the theme for Gillis right now, size and skill. Grenier plays like a powerforward sometimes, but he isn't really physical enough to warrant the playertype. He's much more skill based and offensive, so I made him a PM with aggressiveness and strength.

Wesley Myron (20yrs) 6'2" 187lbs, Left-handed, Centerman #9/93

Sniper, 61 Overall, 3.5-Star Potential (Low)

70 slap shot accuracy 70 deking 75 discipline

75 slapshot power 70 hand-eye 74 off awareness

73 wristshot accuracy 70 passing 65 poise

75 wristshot power 70 puck control

80 acceleration 75 aggressiveness 70 def awareness

80 agility 70 body checking 75 faceoffs

77 balance 75 durability 65 shot blocking

75 endurance 65 fighting skill 68 stick checking

80 speed 77 strength

Myron is another guy with size and speed who uses his size to protect the puck well and generate offense, sort of like a powerforward but I listed him as a sniper. Think Blackberry-level bankrupt man's Jamie Benn.

Jeremy Price (22yrs) 6'1" 190lbs, Right-handed, Defenseman #20/3

Two-Way Defenseman, 3.5-Star Potential (Mid)

75 slap shot accuracy 60 deking 75 discipline

80 slapshot power 67 hand-eye 73 off awareness

75 wristshot accuracy 75 passing 70 poise

80 wristshot power 70 puck control

80 acceleration 75 aggressiveness 75 def awareness

77 agility 75 body checking 63 faceoffs

77 balance 80 durability 73 shot blocking

77 endurance 65 fighting skill 73 stick checking

80 speed 77 strength

Price actually looks really solid so far in the AHL. He might have top 4 potential if he keeps it up, he's solid in the offensive zone, and cool and calculated in the defensive zone, just like Tanev and Corrado.

I don't think we'll see NHL 14 on the next gen consoles, just as we didn't see NHL 06 for the 360 and PS3. Like Stamkos said though NHL 15 will definitely be available on next gen consoles, however I myself am not sure if I'd go for it. It would be EA's first crack at next gen, and like NHL 07 I wouldn't expect to bring much too much except for the obviously improved graphics.

When they update the rosters after the dealine, how does that work with injured players? I'll be pissed if Kesler and other are not on usable on the Canucks in exhibition and online games -_-

Revamping my HUT so I'll have all fast skaters. Its almost finished, I still need to fill out my top line, 2nd line C, and my defense

???? - ???? - Gaborik

Eberle - Couture - Cammalleri

Skinner - Legwand - Grabner

Raymond - Pavelski - Oshie

Bouwmeester - ????

Wisniewski - ????

Suter - Boyle

Hiller

Any ideas on who I should get?

Put Taylor Hall 1st line LW and Duchene 1st line C. Then get like Legwand 2nd line C and on D I personally suggest Brent Burns, only 86 SK but he's soooooo fast for me, much faster than the 86SK dictates IMO. Alex Pietrangelo is also a pretty good skater, he'd fit on your second pair. Burns and Piets are both RD.
