My HUT Team:
Spoiler

Thinking of adding two of Kronwall, Byfuglien, Doughty or Burns to enhance my blueline. What do you guys think of the team? Which defenders should I add?
C = captain, A = Assistant captain

Its pretty solid. I'd go with Kronwall and Burns. Both are pretty fast and can hit like no other

any one know the new updated overalls? Just finished editing a buncha prospects again.. not sure if i should download this one.

I wish I could do as crapty of a job as them and still get to keep my job.

I don't get why Barkov is a bust in this game, I've edited him 3 different times, the last time I made him a 77 coming out of the draft since he never develops and after 3 years he's still a 77 and a depth player and I gave him 4.5 green stars!

So I was playing GM Mode connected, and I got semin who was 81 overall 28, then when we got to the end of the season his overall went up to 84. His stars were silver this whole time, I thought players don't improve if they are silver. Same with Mark Giordano, he went from 86 to 88 and he is silver stars too, both of them were silver stars when i got them.

just a heads up, if you play nhl13 versus online on xbox 360, watch out for this cheater "w4nted420", he does a game freeze glitch and ends up with a DNF win, here's the proof...

Posted Image

p.s. i tried to contact ea directly about this too but to get a hold of someone the approx time is close to an hour through chat right now, i may try to inform them another time.

p.s. if you ever want to report a cheater you can do it @ this link: https://help.ea.com/...roduct=nhl-2013

Question in BeAGm:

I was offered a trade for Galchenyuk about 20 games into the season as he was a 4.5 green star guy (for Bill Sweatt and a 4th :) ). He had only played a few games (7 i believe) with Montreal before they sent him to juniors. In the second season he moved up to a 71 ovr which is a nice jump, however, he is no longer listed as a rookie skater.

How many games does a player have to play in nhl13 to no longer be eligible as a rookie the following season?

Ballard is 81 overall too and Barker has twice as many points in a fraction of the games.

Just sayin'...

I've brought up rookies and played them a few games then sent them back down and the next year they were still rookies, but I've also had players who have never played an NHL game and was also under 25 years old who aren't rookies.

Started a new season with the Canucks yesterday :

Played the first game of the season against CGY

After the first it was 1-0 Calgary

After the 2nd it was 2-1 CGY

45 seconds left and Hudler lifts one top cheese to make it 3-1

Now, Lou had let in 3 on 11 shots so even though I had no chance I swapped him for CS with 45 seconds remaining in the game/.

Following face off, Calgary wins it but Burr jumps and pokes it away and has a break away and he buries it with 39 seconds remaining. Score is 3-2 CGY

I still felt the game was over but I continued the pursuit

10 seconds remaining Hank Danny and Burr are crashing the net, the puck squeaks back to Tanev who loads up and fires it with 3 seconds remaining and it hits Kipper and rebounds to burrows who is in front of Kipper and he shoots it and Kipper comes out to challenge and saves it just outside his crease, he falls backwards lets the rebound out.
Hank gets the rebound and rips it into the yawning cage with 0.1 seconds remaining in regulation! 3-3.

OT solves nothing so we go to the shootout

Higgins : stopped
CGY : stopped
Raymond : Scores
CGY stopped
Burrows for the win : kick fake back hander just gets by kipper and we complete the comeback!

I was pumped haha

After a season:

Schneider played 54 games. Won 43 of them. Had a .921 save % and a 2.31 GAA. Lost in confrence finals. Overall goes from 83 with 4 yellow stars to 83 with 4 silver stars.......

Eddie Lack got injured 3 times in AHL. Was a 4 star red(???) potential. Played like 40 some odd games. Had a .918 save % and a 2.45 GAA. Lost in first round of playoffs. Went from mid 70's to 86 OVR......

I dont understand potential in this game..........................

I find that Lack always surpasses Schneider regardless of stats. I have never seen Schneider grow at all in 8 different GM modes.

Before I started my BeAGM mode with the Canucks using the latest update, I fixed a bunch of overalls and potentials. Due to me noticing that Schneider was a 4.5 red (or a 4 gold, don't remember), I boosted him to a 4.5 gold, but left his rating as an 83. I traded Luongo, and managed to get Marty Brodeur as a backup, hoping that the game factored some sort of mentorship thing in the potential system.

I played Schneider in every game in the NHL, and we ended the season after losing in 5 games to the Kings in the first round (-_-)

Lack, a 76 overall 4 gold, played every AHL game, and the Wolves missed the playoffs.

Just after the draft, I check my team's overalls. Schneider is now an 83 overall with 4.5 silver stars, and Lack is an 84 overall with 4 gold stars.

Boys you don't understand. It's truly simple. In NHL 13 players stop developping at around age 27, which is when the stars will turn silver. Schneider is 26 in the game and ends the season 27 years old so he doesn't develop. So he stays at 83 overall. Simple.

Aside from the fact that I've had players 27 and over still gain a couple overall points. But I've never seen someone just stagnate like Schneider does.

Yeah I make him an 87 since Luongo is 89, he never changes overall no matter what for some reason.

Kesler always goes up 1 overall and down 1 overall each year for me also even after age 27.

Marleau [92 SKT] - Vermette [89 SKT] - Havlat [92 SKT]
Raymond [92 SKT] - Lombardi [92 SKT] - Grabner [93 SKT]
Legwand [90 SKT] - Cogliano [92 SKT] - Hansen [88 SKT]
Neal [84 SKT]

Bouwmeester [90 SKT] - Campbell [89 SKT]
Ehrhoff [88 SKT] - Boyle [89 SKT]
N.Schultz [89 SKT] - Niskanen [88 SKT]
Leddy [87 SKT]
Liles [88 SKT]

Kiprusoff

Another reason why waivers need fixing: I traded Schneider to Philly for Brayden Schenn, Nick Cousins and a 1st. I then see that Philly put Schneider on waivers and LA picked him up :picard:
