Vince not helping Roman at all with these main events. Four in a row stuck with three old has-beens that can't wrestle anymore. Also, what a waste of a Cena match jeez. That show really went downhill as soon as the Smackdown tag team championship match happened.

5+ hours is just too much for a PPV. Not even Shins and AJ can rowdy up the crowd, which made their match uneventful.

The crowd was pretty much dead after Nia vs. Alexa, with a few pop here and there.

Lesnar retaining was just the final nail to the coffin to a WM that didn't live up to expectation.

I did however enjoy the first 2.5 hours of the show.

I would say I didn't have much expectation to this WM.  Just didn't have too many things I was looking forward to.  And 5 hours is way to long, but I always enjoy the spectacle and entrances, so no complaints regardless.

I was only present for half, but from the accounts of everyone around me who watched it all, it seemed to be easily the best one since Wreslemania 30 (not really much of a bar to cross there.)

I enjoyed what I saw, but that Roman main event sucked. It was bound to suck, as there's no good way for it to turn out. The one they went with was the anti-climax, which I still  prefer to a Roman win.

They really need to stop it with Roman main events though. They suck all the life out of the event when they end (minus of course that awesome Seth Rollins cash in during Wrestlemania 31),  They're poorly built up to, poorly wrestled, and have 2 outcomes, one of which only sucks slightly less than Roman winning, and the crowds just hate them.

Nakamura turning heel will be interesting though.

Accuser needs to be locked up. Enzo need to sue her along with WWE for wrongful termination.

Turns out the story about the charges being dropped were fake/false for the time being.

https://www.sportskeeda.com/wwe/wwe-news-rumor-killer-on-sexual-assault-case-against-enzo-amore-being-dropped

What's the story?

Earlier this week, online speculation surfaced suggesting that the police investigation into alleged sexual assault charges perpetrated by former WWE employee and Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore has been dropped. However, these rumors seem to have been confirmed as false.

In case you didn't know...

Ringside News reported that Enzo's accuser Philomena Sheahan's former friend Sam, tweeted that the case against Enzo Amore had been dropped, leading to both Sam and Sheahan deleting their Twitter accounts.

They also reported that they looked into court dockets in the state of Arizona, and discovered there was no record of Eric Ardnt's name, meaning that no official charges have been raised against the former wrestler.

The heart of the matter

However, it would seem that despite Sam's now-deleted tweet, and these reports that the police are no longer looking into, claims that Enzo Amore is still under investigation after all.

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reached out to the police investigating the matter and received a reply back, confirming that the case is still open at this time and that Enzo is still being investigated.

Ryan Satin

@ryansatin

Police got back to me in regards to the Enzo Amore investigation. Reports stating the investigation is over are completely false.

The case is still open at this time.

What's next?

So what have we learned? Well, as it turns out not a lot. The police are still investigating the allegations but, no official charges have been leveled against Enzo which is exactly what happened a few months ago.

The case is particularly complicated, with counter-allegations being made against the alleged victim, suggesting that she made the whole thing up, and has been ongoing for a large period of time, so we just need to let the police get on with it.

If there is sufficient evidence against Enzo, he will be charged and taken to court.

Author's take

What a mess this story still is, even though a significant amount of time has passed since the allegations were made public and the WWE made the decision to fire Enzo. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
