God, just start building the Rumble now. December seems to always be the worst time of year for WWE in terms of story and quality. Seriously, when Cody Rhodes sporting a moustache is the highlight of Raw, good god!!! (It was a killer 'stache though!)

The only things I can state that are a positive:

-Dolph Ziggler - If you told me ANYONE from the Spirit Squad would get half as good as he has become back in 2004 I'd have slapped some sense into you. Great match tonight with Sheamus, though he was made to look like an idiot to stay on the top of that ladder the entire opening segment after Sheamus entered the ring.

-Daniel Bryan - Because I can't hate the man at all.

-CM Punk building up his match against The Rock prior to TLC now that his match with Ryback has been canned.

One more note: Is WWE just trying to bury the Primetime Players. They just entered the ring in that 4 way elimination tag match prior to the commercial break for the first time and by the time the commercial break ended they were eliminated. I know they aren't as sexy of a team as Rhodes Scholars or Hell No but they should be building them up for when those two teams split so their members can continue their respective singles careers.

Thank god next week the quest to get a title shot at Wrestlemania begins with the greatest PPV match of the year. As bad as the product for WWE can be, the Rumble never disapoints. See the 97 Rumble when the WWF was losing a lot of talent to WCW and how they still pulled off a good match.

By the way learn how to spell SHIRIKOV who is this shirakov

Amazingly on his first shift Kassian would have had a breakaway if Kesler knew how to pass. And he still got switched with Weiss. And note it is "Weiss" not "Wise".

And after the show, he was left in the ring alone and took all the faces' finishers. Shake my damn head.

#RAW was so bad. It was just a complete mess. The same people came out over and over.

The Rock is being advertised for WWE's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in February. Word going around WWE is that he will indeed be wrestling on that show, most likely in one of the Chamber matches. This would be The Rock's first-ever Chamber match.

Looks like The Rock might actually win the title from Punk at RR. It wouldn't be that bad of a move, just think how much media attention the WWE will get. The Rock walking down a Hollywood red carpet with the title, would be pretty bada$$.

Any truth to the rumor that the WWE may be bringing back MVP and Shelton Benjamin?? They've been wrestling in Japan as a tag team called Black Dynamite...

After today and the other few encounters from the shield vs ryback and team hell no, I dont really seeing the shield winning cleanly. Maybe another backstage attack on ryback and Miz/Orton becoming the 3rd member or something and still losing.

i feel bad for orton. he, like mysterio, are real injury prone lately. he just can't get any momentum at all. i always rag on orton for being boring, but as a heel, he's one of the best in the business. he has a completely different ring psychology that's on a league of it's own. you can tell it has triple h written all over it, going back to when he was being molded in evolution, like how the rock was, in the nation of domination. not too many people think of it it that way

My favorite all-time wrestler is Rob Van Dam...I've been watching him since he first started in ECW back in 1996. Last few months I've been keeping only a casual eye on TNA, but the matches I have been able to catch that he's had...like at PPVs...it just seems to me that X-Division belt, much like the WWE Hardcore Championship was tailor made for RVD. Looks also like we may have a nice rivalry brewing between he and Kenny King..not quite the level of rivalry he had with Jerry Lynn, but it looks to be entertaining.

Rhodes Scholars defeat Rey Mysterio/Sin Cara to become #1 Contenders for Tag Team titles, Antonio Cesaro retains the US title. Kofi retains the Intercontinental Title after an exciting match with Wade Barrett. Have a reliable feed for this PPV, PM me if interested.

Well the Shield won.

Just another group that the normal fan isn't going to think twice about.

The worst thing the WWE could do is sacrifice what Ryback has going to push these guys. Anyone remember the Nexus? Look at Barett now.

Punk will NEVER be the number one guy in the WWE, with Cena's body slowly feeling the effects of his career, may as well get the Ryback train going.

Ambrose is the only impressive one in the group

It would have been nice had they built up Naomi as a wrestler more rather than have her with the miracle No. 1 contender win.

i'm actually really excited to see RAW tomorrow. that PPV was better than survivor series for sure. interested to see what happens with aj and zigs. they could be good together. she's really one of the more interesting characters and she hasn't really been used right all year long. think the E may have finally found something that could work

Yeah, 'cause that would be just amazing for the product. zzz

Really hope Punk keeps the belt til WM and Ziggler wins it from him as a face :P At that point it'll be a 500~ days, making it a pretty gigantic deal that the title changes hands. Good way to really launch Ziggler, IMO.

I think he'll reach his potential as a face. Kinda like HBK, does a great job of making it look like he's really getting his ass kicked, someone the crowd can really get behind.

By the way, predictable ending.

the entire crowd was behind zigs. the man really knows the ring. who'da thunk this was one of the guys who were in the spirit squad

i mean, i'm not gonna lie, it took me a while to warm up to "dolph ziggler" but there's something so old school about him
