Jägermeister
The improvement on our offence wouldn't make up for how much worse our D would get.

JimLahey
Our defence gets worse more than our offense improves. Also, why do you have Higgins on the fourth line in every proposal?
kanucks1
That means Ballard needs to step up and Tanev will improve nicely.

kanucks1
Wheeler got 64 points in 80 games and is 6-5 205 pounds and hasn't even reached his prime.

kanucks1
Then Trade...... To Van: Leddy,Hayes,3rd 2013. To Chi: Luongo. and To Ott: Ballard,Chicago's 3rd in 2013,Bill Sweatt. To Van: Cody Ceci.
JimLahey
The deals you're proposing help us, but it is all happening because of the acquisition of a top six winger. IMO we should either be happy with our top 9, or acquire one through a Luongo deal.
Dogbyte
I would do the deal. We desperately need to upgrade our top 6. Wheeler has a lot of the skills we are looking for up front. Unless Edler learns how to play defence he's expendable in my books. We might get more for him elsewhere though. Philly? Stuart is also turning into a very dependable defenceman. da.moose
Thanks for the fair offer but the Jets say no thank you! Wheeler is currently our best forward and is a star forward in this league. As valuable as Edler would be to our lineup our biggest problem last season was our scoring and we are just in no position to give up our stud. We love Wheeler in Winnipeg.
