Snake Doctor
My first guess is that our core players have played a lot of hockey in the last 3 years. Except for last playoffs they have had long playoff runs, the olympics, and world hockey championships. My second guess is that the players may think the lockout will not last until December. I bet Burrows would tear it up in the KHL. I think Ballard should get some extra playing time in as well.
DeNiro
One word: Loyalty. Our players only wanna play for one team. I think it's a testament to the culture that has been created on the Canucks. The players aren't just treated like employees here, and in return they show their loyalty to the Canucks.
austy
Might be a good opportunity to pick up a few ring-ins to play down at 8-rinks

winsyloveshockey
I heard that they decided as a team that they were going to stick together here in Vancouver. If the lockout goes longer than December, a few will likely go.
