60 years without warring against each other; member states in civil unrest; nations on the brink of bankruptcy. That deserves a Nobel Peace Prize?

This award like all others is a joke. Who cares what a bunch of blow hards think.

Europe itself wasn't the cause for the previous 2 world wars...

In fact, it doesn't even have anything to do with "European culture"

The causes of the the two world wars are far more complicated than what can fit in a single sentence, let alone the cause being supposedly "European".

Also I think the Nobel Peace Prize is entirely political. I believe it lost a lot of its reputation voting on Obama in 2009 (Lolz).

I know my neighbour that could have been a better candidate to receive it than Obama.
