Lancaster
I'm just wondering when did Edler get his latest injury. Perhaps it's a reason why he was really sub-par during the post-season.
73 Percent
Lucky there's a lockout, or here's how this crap-pile of a team would look right now: Sedin - Sedin - Burrows Booth - Lapierre - Higgins Hansen - Malhotra - Raymond Volpatti - Pinizotto - Kassian Bieksa - Hamhuis Tanev - Ballard Joslin - Alberts
Canuck Surfer
C'Mon man, summers coming down here; cheer up! Besides; Danny/Hank/Kass (imagine a big physical fast winger to do dirty work for the Twins? It would not matter if he's not quite Burr!) Burrows/Schroeder/Bear Higgins/Lapierre/Hansen Raymond/Manny/Pinizotto Volpatti Hamhuis/Bieksa Ballard/Joslin Connauton/Tanev Connauton & Schroeder are exciting young talents. Shroeder with Burr and Booth (Bear) would have lighting speed, Booth add's size and Burr guile and cunning. It would be a wicked line! Our two rookies on top 2 lines would be great for their development also; plus they each add a missing (and needed) dimension. Joslin does not replace Garrison, but Connauton at least replaces a lot of offense and does have a great shot.
Jai604
And the curse of the Canucks defensemen continues.... The lockout: a blessing in disguise, I guess.
BuretoMogilny
Well..... i guess the lockout can be considered a good thing after all
TOMapleLaughs
Opportunity for Tanev and possibly K-Con here. If there's a season, that is.

ChuckNORRIS4Cup
Oh well now that just means Edler wont be getting a new contract, Gillis doesn't like resigning players who have had major injuries, he thinks it's to big of a gamble. Bye bye Edler.
Burnsey
Gonna be a long lock-out so at least they can heal while there is no hockey and no proper progress being made as well.

Moonshinefe
I doubt we could compete with Toronto or Calgary with that garbage lol

bolt
I wouldn't believe that all of these injuries are legit till the season actually starts. Collecting 100% of your salary from insurance verses collecting nothing might be appealing to some players.
S.Mouse!
I guess most of you missed this part... Edler was seen on the field at BC Place Stadium after the B.C. Lions’ win over the Calgary Stampeders last Saturday night kicking a 30-yard field goal.
Monteeun
We get a bunch of injuries during the season and i thought with a lockout there would be no injuries. But no, even without a season we still have injuries. How in the hell does this work? lol
Gurn
I am somewhat surprised at how many people are hinting, or worse, that these players are faking it. Then again ... no I'm not
ChuckNORRIS4Cup
Since when? Willie Mitchell doesn't mean Gillis doesn't like re-signing players that have had major injuries.
Erik Karlsson
Hopefully this lowers his value when we re-sign him.
