Kassian will be fine, he tore up the AHL last year so I don't see him stuggling for much longer.

Rodin looks like Mason Raymond 2.0

Kass is good along the boards. Schroeder is an absolute jitterbug.

Today's line up:

Sterling – Ebbett – Haydar
Rodin– Schroeder – Kassian
Sweatt – Pinizzotto – Longpre
Desbiens – Mallet – Miller

Connauton - Tanev
Joslin – Mullen
Matheson – Andersson

Lack
Climie

Imagine what kinda deal we could have gotten for:

Edler
Hodgson
Luongo

All packaged together drooooool

Instead, we have Kassian and Gargnani.... Oh wait, we waived Gargnani.... May have been smarter to get a 1st or 2nd and 3rd in addition to Kassian.
Buffalo ripped us off. Stupid MG

All this after 1 game... seriously...
RIP LB28, RR37 and PD38... Forever a Canuck

Nathan Longpre short handed goal. Nice interception, goes in on breakaway and snipes top corner.

Ya that was a sick steal by Longpre, we should seriously get this guy on an NHL contract.

Connauton is so awesome on the PP. I love how confident he is. He spends a lot of time by the half boards, and creeps in to the slot area every now and then.

Ya that was Kass, got up and dropped them right after. Whew, wish they had replays.

Didn't realize you guys were trying to keep the discussion going for the next game too, I'd already started a GDT for today's game.

Kassian looked terrible. Didn't hit anybody. Looked very slow. Couldn't make a pass. Badly outshone by Schroeder.

Not encouraging.

Hmmmm, that's odd because the guy who has been watching him the closest for the past month and a half (as opposed to your 60 minute critique) said this:

Zack is moving really well and has been a force playing a power-forward role,” Wolves coach Scott Arniel said Thursday. “The surprise to me is that I’ve really noticed his playmaking ability and that’s something I wasn’t expecting. But getting thrown into the fire in Vancouver, he had a lot of pressure in being traded for a popular player who was playing well for the Canucks. It can be tough on a kid and now it’s kind of a fresh start. He gets to get his feet under him and show the organization what he can do. We’re pleased with what we’ve seen.

Unfortunately the last half of that paragraph will be nearly impossible with fans like you breathing fire down his neck as if it's Kassian's fault the golden boy Hodgson was traded.

Kassian.... Taylor Pyatt 3.0

Lies. He's more of a Steve Bernier. Hopefully his talent level goes up so he can become like a Taylor Pyatt.

Oh, he's well beyond rational thought on this. Oddly enough it seems mostly like he's doing it because he's upset Schroeder isn't getting more attention after good play as well. Schroeder was probably better in Saturday's game and Kassian in today's, but he's way more upset than anyone but Schroeder's grandmother should be.
