avelanch
can't please everyone it seems. Some people want more character development with less zombies, others want more zombies and less filler (character development), but everyone wants to bitch about it. kurtis
I got bored of it I'm half way through season 3... It was hard to get attached to the characters.
Darth Kane
so glad they're getting back to the zombie side of the story this season.. hopefully it's a good one. Me too. It's always good to have the human conflict element to the show, but this is a zombie apocalypse to you should stray too far from that.

It pretty much killed the show for me. So many lame characters.
Darth Kane
"AMC's hit television show returns for a fourth season. Will Rick continue to show his two emotions, anger and sadness? Will the group continue to fight more walkers, but killing them in slightly different ways? Will character development take a backseat to the killing of even more walkers? Stay tuned for The Walking Dead, or as it is often referred to, Zombie Porn." After the snoozefest that was season 3, I will have a hard time even remembering to set my PVR to record this on schedule. Seasons 1 and 2 were better than season three. Except for the scene where Rick meets up with the Governor to negotiate. That scene was intense.

Monty
Seasons 1 and 2 were better than season three. Except for the scene where Rick meets up with the Governor to negotiate. That scene was intense. Except the seasons have become progressively worse. People b*tched and complained about season 2, saying that it was too slow. And when season 3 came, everyone was happy that it was back to killing more walkers, that it was better then season 2. Then after season 3, everyone said how it was worse then both season 1 and season 2. It's probably just me, but this is certainly one of those times when less would have been more. If it had been a mini-series, lasting only one season, or at most two, it would have been better. But they are streching out something that is really only good for so long. Oliewud
they changed the writers after both seasons i believe. well that explains it even more. I thought the 1st season was best...it's what got me hooked on this show. It had such a different feel back then, much more scary IMO
hockeyville88
Lovin the countdown avelanch! I hope this season is a bit scarier than the last one!

It had such a different feel back then, much more scary IMO i do agree, and I think it's because they've become pretty adept at killing walkers. the zombies just are not a threat anymore. I think that's one major thing that the writers screwed themselves with. They can't exactly go back to them being bad shots/lacking in killing skills. I know they said they are going to focus on the zombies as the major threat this season, I'm just curious how they plan on doing this. giant hoards are going to become commonplace, i think. Rick Grimes
they changed the writers after the 1st or 2nd season and the show went downhill FAST. if you can't see that you're just drunk on zombie love. I think you're just looking for a reason to hate the show. The show has drastically changed each season; at this point - they've become expert zombie slayers, even the weakest characters Carl & Carol are proven slayers now.
