AriGold
I would love to see Lucic and Hartnell on a line and playing with another big physical center who can play.. Like a 4th line of Lucic - Getzlaf - Hartnell

Zoolander
Too bad Mackinnon,Ekblad and McDavid weren't born 4 years earlier Still, that line-up should be the one to beat. Every position looks sound, except goaltending.
elvis15
Exactly. There is still the possibility of no NHLers in 2014, so we might have a team with none of those players.
Captain Aerosex
Rick Nash - Sidney Crosby ( C ) - Jordan Eberle John Tavares - Steven Stamkos - Claude Giroux Mike Richards - Jonathan Toews ( A ) - Patrice Bergeron (DAT CHECKING LINE...I had to ) Eric Staal -Ryan Getzlaf - Corey Perry Extra: Taylor Hall Shea Weber ( A ) - Drew Doughty Alexander Pietrangelo - Kris Letang Duncan Keith - Brent Seabrook Extra: Marc Staal Carey Price Roberto Luongo Extra: Marc-Andre Fleury For forwards, unless you're omitting guys like Crosby, Stammer, Giroux, and Toews, you can't really go wrong. My forwards I like because everybody's got lots of heart and leadership qualities. All have shown up on a big stage. Lots of offensive talent right through the line-up, nobody's really a defensive liability. Bottom 6 lines can play niche roles if needed (defensive studs on the 3rd, big guys on the 4th who aren't afraid to get physical). D-men are pretty deep and solid two-way players. It kind of sucks that it's almost all righties only but oh well. Goaltending makes or breaks this team. I think Price will be ready, but if not then you've got either an older Luongo or MA Fleury which I wouldn't be too happy with.

bossram
It's still two years away. Very tough to say. In two years time guys like RNH, Eberle and even Mackinnon could be the best players in the world. As of now we don't know. Guys like Iginla and Boyle may or may not still be playing at an elite level. I'll take a shot though. Rick Nash - Sidney Crosby - Steven Stamkos John Tavares - Claude Giroux - Tyler Seguin Eric Staal - Ryan Getzlaf - Corey Perry Mike Richards - Jonathan Toews - Patrice Bergeron Jordan Eberle Replacements:Milan Lucic, Scott Hartnell, James Neal, Jordan Staal, Jamie Benn Alex Pietrangelo - Kris Letang Shea Weber - Drew Doughty Brent Seabrook - Duncan Keith Tyler Myers Replacements: Dion Phaneuf, Dan Hamhuis, Mike Green, Karl Alzner Care Price Marc-Andre Fleury Replacement: Cam Ward Up front I decided to leave the big boys out of the lineup. After watching the World Championships on bigger ice I noticed its more important to have quick, mobile players than grinders. This goes even moreso for the defence. Skating and mobility is much more important on the bigger ice. Goalies are standard fare. Obviously its tough as hell to choose.
