That's a pretty good start in the AHL. This guy looked awesome in college. Lets see if he can continue that into the NHL.

Watch Bowness somehow mess up Tampa Bay's already amazing 2 powerplay units...he'll probably tell Stamkos to do drop passes from centre ice, take him out from the faceoff dot, and place him infront of the goalie

The best decision Schultz made was to sign with the Oilers. I always thought he would. Now this kid can grow and become a star with a young team full of other future stars. He'll get plenty of ice and get to develop his game with the Oil.

I'm glad he chose the Oilers too because Vigneault would eventually bury his career here, for personal reasons of course.

The Oiler`s defense could get very good very soon. If guys like Musil, Klefbom and Shultz and keep developing, then guys like Whitney, Smid and Shultz could form a good d-core. Sadly..

Yup, probably cup contenders in the next couple years. All they need is a decent goalie.

That's "trashing" him? Really?

I'm calling out the obvious hypocrisy of people saying "wait for the NHL!" with Schutlz, yet the Lucic comparisons and "beast mode!" comments to Kassian come out in spades if he scores. That's it.

It's actually more hypocritical of you to be posting all over the wolves GDT when you think Kass has a bad game, then not even acknowledge it when he scores in three straight.

Maybe trashing is the wrong word. But i just find it funny how much of a dislike you have for the kid, that you need to bring him up in topics that have nothing to do with him.

Pretty simple, actually - I haven't watched the last two games. I saw the first two, and he didn't look good in either (besides scoring in the second game). That's called an opinion.

"Dislike", again, that is rich. I "dislike" him because I didn't think that he was playing good?

OK, makes sense.

You "dislike" him because when he has a bad game, you're all over him, but when he has a string of good ones, you're nowhere to be found. Its curious.

Yes, CDC waives its pom-poms when the top prospect plays well. But your negativity is just making them swell even more. Its a positive feedback cycle.

No, I will repeat again; I was watching those games live, and made commentary during it. Kassian did not look good in them. He looked slow, couldn't make a pass, and overall disinterested. That is what I saw. I did not watch the last two games.

Interesting, though, that you fail to mention the "positivity" that I sent Jordan Schroeder's way, who I thought was excellent in both games.

Except that you seem to be the only one who thought he was "slow, couldn't make a pass, and overall disinterested". Everyone else saw the passes he made and the hits he threw.

Yes, I'm not mentioning Schroeder, because he has nothing to do with Kassian. That's like saying, last week I said Edler played well, which means there's no way I could be treating Bieksa unfairly.
