King of the ES
As mentioned - means diddly until he consistently shows this and is able to translate some of that to the NHL
Niloc009
Meanwhile, the servers on this website crash when Zack Kassian scores.
King of the ES
There you go again, trashing ZK9 for no reason.
Spotted Zebra
It's actually more hypocritical of you to be posting all over the wolves GDT when you think Kass has a bad game, then not even acknowledge it when he scores in three straight. Niloc009
That's "trashing" him? Really? I'm calling out the obvious hypocrisy of people saying "wait for the NHL!" with Schutlz, yet the Lucic comparisons and "beast mode!" comments to Kassian come out in spades if he scores. That's it. King of the ES
Maybe trashing is the wrong word. But i just find it funny how much of a dislike you have for the kid, that you need to bring him up in topics that have nothing to do with him. Niloc009
"Dislike", again, that is rich. I "dislike" him because I didn't think that he was playing good? OK, makes sense.
King of the ES
You "dislike" him because when he has a bad game, you're all over him, but when he has a string of good ones, you're nowhere to be found. Its curious. Yes, CDC waives its pom-poms when the top prospect plays well. But your negativity is just making them swell even more. Its a positive feedback cycle. Niloc009
No, I will repeat again; I was watching those games live, and made commentary during it. Kassian did not look good in them. He looked slow, couldn't make a pass, and overall disinterested. That is what I saw. I did not watch the last two games. Interesting, though, that you fail to mention the "positivity" that I sent Jordan Schroeder's way, who I thought was excellent in both games. King of the ES
Except that you seem to be the only one who thought he was "slow, couldn't make a pass, and overall disinterested". Everyone else saw the passes he made and the hits he threw.
Niloc009
Or, I was the only one that was watching without a bias and/or was not scared to offer a "negative" opinion.

Niloc009
Now, as much as I'd love to continue to point out your bias and how you seem to be in denial about it, I have stuff to do today. Thank you King for making my transit ride entertaining

oldnews
Schultz - who cares? And I say that in response to the implied whining from King that Gillis couldn't land him. Boohoo. Good for Edmonton - he wanted to play with all those young guns and get his guaranteed ice time. Contenders don't give guaranteed ice time to anyone, let alone guys who hadn't even played an AHL game in their career. Yeah - playing with Eberle, Nugent Hopkins etc will result in some points. Good for the Oilers - if he wasn't going to sign here, I'm glad they got him.
cIutch
Yup, probably cup contenders in the next couple years. All they need is a decent goalie.
