n00bxQb
If you live in the Greater Vancouver region, I'd suggest getting NCIX or Memory Express to build you a computer. I worked for a decade in retail stores; all their PCs are garbage. They basically use the cheapest power supplies, cooling devices, and motherboards they can get because they know very few people pay attention to that stuff. Trebreh
Imagine a desk that you have for working on.....now the table top, your workspace, thats your ram, the bigger your desk top the more things you can do at once. Now all the drawers and cabinets in your desk....thats your storage space i.e. your harddrive. How fast you can do everything at once, thats your processor speed. (if this is what your asking in your post?)
*VaNcOuVeRCaNuCkS*
Depends what you are going to be using it for Those 2 computers have decent specs but what was said above the power supplies, processor heatsink and cooling in general are usually cheap but then again it depends what you are doing with it My personal preference is an INTEL based computer as I don't like what AMD has to offer Build your own computer or have someone do it for you if you don't feel comfortable you might pay a bit more but you can pick and choose what you want to buy

-Goose-
Both of them have subpar video cards, but I have no idea what Total War demands. I'd stay away IMO.

-DLC-
But you obviously have to know what you're doing for that. Exactly. My son learned this when he and a friend tried to build their own....there were some little pieces that they couldn't figure out and decided they "didn't need them". Turned out they were spacers, very necessary for cooling, and it very quickly burned out his component(s) without them. There are places you simply take the pieces you've bought in and they'll put them together for you (it was about $50-$80 a few years ago). Plus: Don't come here. A lot of dumies here. I think you've convinced us....
