WHL rocks
The sad thing is we are guilty of doing exactly what those people are doing in OP pics. I know I am guilty. It's not unusual for me to be sitting at Starbucks with friends while on my Iphone browising CDC etc. But this opened my eyes. I'm going to try not to be one of those people from now on. WHL rocks
That is weird. I've been on my phone at a coffee shop when I'm by myself.... but if you're there with friends.... Link to comment
aGENT
Getting a text from your wife to pick up some potatoes on your way home while you're having coffee with friends = normal. Browsing CDC, checking your email etc while having coffee with friends = weird. Link to comment

Jai604
When my family gets together we all put our cellphones on the kitchen counter and leave them there. There's nothing ruder than texting while trying to have dinner or spending time with people. I feel lucky to have friends that are more interested in spending time with the people they are with, rather than texting everyone they aren't. Link to comment

goalie13
Did Einstein really say this? Or is this one of those quotes that sounds good and enough people have shared it so it's taken as true? Link to comment

Snake Doctor
That's actually a good point. Since my divorce I have had time to hang out with friends and I noticed that both my friends were on their phones more than talking with eachother. LOL Link to comment
JoGuitar
I found this quote... It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity. Albert Einstein It seems it has been expanded. And if old Albert thought it had already happened back in the day...oh boy he should see it now. Link to comment
Offensive Threat
My brother has started doing this lately. Staring at his phone while we are watching the game at a pub or out with friends. Ive started punching him every time he does it. It seems to be working now. We went to Vegas a few month ago after not seeing each other for almost 6 months and he was doing it constantly. Why in Vegas do you need to be staring at your phone? I kept tellin him to put it away and he said he didnt even realize he was doing it. But the punching as said before is working. Link to comment

Argon
I almost don't even notice not having a computer right now with a smart phone and ps3. Technology has its benefits Link to comment
EX_Bert_Worshipper
I have to say, I'm glad I'm techno-challenged. I don't even know how to send a text on my phone. I don't want to learn, either. I call instead. Link to comment
