19th Birthday - Tomorrow Night

Recommended Posts

I missed my age of majority birthday drinking party because the BC government lowered the legal drinking age from 21 to 19 in 1970 after my 19th birthday but before I was 21 so I was celebrating that day with numerous others.

That probably would have been an extremely busy night at the bars once the age change took effect!

But anyway, enjoy and plan a safe ride everywhere you go!

For legality sake I was living in Alberta for about 6 months earlier this year, so no it's not my first drinking experience. :) We've got a few DD's all lined up.

I actually know a girl who is turning 19 tomorrow and is going out with her friends.

I hope both groups of you don't bump into each other. That could be trouble.

My birthday is on June 18th and my 19th happened to fall on the weekend of the NHL Draft/NHL awards when both were held in Vancouver. NHL players EVERYWHERE. I went to the Roxy and saw Ted Nolan hitting on some young girls outside and Fred Braithwaite was doing a drunk dance. Inside I bumped into Al MacInnis, Vincent Lecavalier, Ryan Kesler and a few other guys. Really cool night.

Anywho, when I was 19 I also did a big celebration with a bunch of guys who turned 19 within a month of me. Blarney Stone -> Cigars -> Number 5 Orange is a good introduction to manhood. Enjoy.

If you're planning your own 19th birthday bash, you're doing it wrong.

Don't worry, you most likely won't remember a thing (which might be a good thing  )
