Instead of just radio airplay it now counts iTunes sales as well. Don't like this change. Now for the next 53 weeks Taylor Swifts "WANEGBT" will be #1 on the COUNTRY charts when all it is is a dumb POP song but will still be at #1 cuz all teenage Swift fans will buy her songs on iTunes. Now, every artist will just release stuff like "WANEGBT" and score a #1 hit. George Strait, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean, etc. will never again score a #1 even with a great song cuz Swift will be at #1 again. /rant Your thoughts on this? Standing_Tall#37
I like girls who drink beer will knock her off the top. Sorry Taylor, but I only hurt the ones that I love
Raoul Duke
"WANEGBT"? What does that even mean? Also, if you actually care about Billboard charts, I feel for you.

pimpcurtly
It stands for her latest, extremely crappy song, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."

c00kies
Taylor Swift is a glamourfied rat that is making crappy music. I don't know what people see in her...
Peaches
I liked her better when she was releasing country. Now it's pre-packaged pop crap. AND she's released a dubstep/rap song
Raoul Duke
Doesn't take much to get a #1 hit on Billboard charts. Just look at that pathetic "Gagnam Style". Yah, Billboard charts are totally credible.
Peaches
"Gangnam Style" will probally be #1 for the next few years. *sigh* My main problems though are that country labels will release bad pop music. Release it to country radio. And then nothing decent will ever be played. And that Swift will take over the top spot for the rest of the decade. TOMapleLaughs
Sounds like the problem isn't Billboard, but Taylor Swift. Is there a way to put an end to her and her kind?

:D
If you don't like Country that's fine. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But the "CH9 is 8" joke wasn't funny the first time and it isn't funny the 500th time.
Peaches
Country has been pretty good lately. Only a handful of songs I dislike. But I can't stand the pop music being released these days.
Peaches
Whether you are 8,9 or even 10, you are old enough to understand that classic country, Johnny Cash/Waylon Jennings/Hank Williams, is far superior to any of the trash that has come out recently.
