Tom Sestito
I'd rarely be using my phone to call people. I want the basic apps to work well and fast. Facebook, twitter etc. I want the internet to load without problems. Biggest one: Good sound. Good video quality. Good battery life. A good screen, that's easy to text with. I've been looking, and I can't decide. Also, i'd want a plan with unlimited social media, and texting. Calls would probably not go over 5-10 minutes per month. Any ideas? I've been looking at the Note 2, but that seems a bit big lol. Also prices? thanks.

TOMapleLaughs
Dunno. But my opinion on iphone and apple's totalitarian attitude toward their own apps is trending downward. Newstand? Useless. 'Free,' but not free. But you can't delete it or even tuck it away into a folder. Meanwhile, the standard youtube app is gone (until you download it) Stupid apple. PlayStation
Two choices your going to get a lot is iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3. I personally have the iPhone 5, and I love it, Highest resale value aswell from my personal experience and what I have seen. But what I would suggest to you is to go to your local mall, visit every phone shop and actually look at the stuff hands on, see a few you like, maybe then do some research on it online, and go from there. That way you can play around with the OS and touch screen and all that and see for yourself. But as far as the iPhone 5, cant go wrong with it from my personal experience. Screen is super nice and smooth, sound is improved from the last iPhone, camera is among the top of the market and its super sexy! Not to mention super light and extremely comfortable in your hand. (Samsung felt a bit too big) Fits everything you said but not really sure if there are social media plans for the iPhone or Galaxy, only heard about them for Blackberrys (Stay away!) PowerIce
Everyone is saying Samsung, I've had it for 3 years now... can't say I'm a huge fan. The texting tends to glitch at least once a day
Wetcoaster
I have had this one for years and it is highly recommended. It also works well as defensive weapon:

Lychees
Get the Samsung Galaxy S3 unless you're used to iphones or have a bunch of apple products to sync with Or wait for the Note 2. And this is coming from a guy who's had all the iPhones.
KFBR392
I've had an htc desire hd for the last year. I really like the phone. It has its occasional quirk, but I'm sure most "smart" phones do. I'm not too up on the new phones, but htc is pretty damn good overall in my experience.

n00bxQb
GF has the iPhone 5. It's fine, I guess. Can't say I'm a big fan of iOS, although I enjoy the NHL 13 Companion App. Windows Phone 7 is probably the mobile OS I like using the most of the current ones. I miss webOS Damn you, HP!
