I've sent scouts to scout WHL forwards 3 times now, but when I go to look up players there is no info on them and it says "no scouting visits yet" which sucks cause WHL is a good source of prospects. The opportunity arose for us to acquire a good young 2nd line centre and top NHL goaltender. The Washington Capitals are thrilled to announce the acquisition of Henrik Lundqvist and Alexander Burmistrov to our organization. We feel they will make an immediate impact to our organization for next season as we continue to strive for Lord Stanley's Cup. Lundqvist and Burmistrov will be joined by 2014 first round pick defenseman Avery and RW prospect Baptiste, we feel those guys will hopefully increase our depth and compete for a spot on our roster in the future. We would like to thank the following players whom we've parted ways with; Tim Connolly, Thomas Vokoun, Michael Frolik, Tom Wilson, Carrier, and a goaltender prospect to be named at a later date.
