DeNiro
Make that a goal and two assists for Hansen in his debut. This actually just makes me depressed. Hansen is just entering his prime and is an awesome third liner. Now we might miss out on an entire season of him in his prime, not to mention an entire season of a cheap contract. zombieksa
My personal opinion is that Hansen should get a look on the second line come next NHL game, let Kassian try a spot on the 3rd to start the season
DownUndaCanuck
This will do Hansen a world of good. He's gone from 3rd line checker and PKer to Tappara's sniper and star. A whole season in this new role will refine his game quite well if he can add a scoring element to his already-great defensive style. I'd love to see guys like Malhotra and Lapierre follow suite. With Weise and Hansen working on their offensive game a lot more, our bottom-6 adds a new aspect it desperately needed last year and that's scoring skill. Also wouldn't mind seeing Ballard go boost his confidence with a season somewhere else putting up big numbers.
sirwilliam
Good for Hansen! Glad to see him playing, hope the others start doing this too, particularly the bottom 6 guys like Lappy. Show 'em what you're made of.
Smashian Kassian
According to HockeyDB: http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=78706 GP: 2 G: 1 A: 3 P: 4 PIM: 0 +/-: 1 4 Points, in 2 Games and a +1. Seems like the Honey Badger is doing a pretty good job.
Kumquats
Hmm, according to Tappara's player page for Hansen (http://www.tappara.f...a&pelaajaid=109), he's at 185cm (6'1) and 92kg (203lbs). That's about 8 more pounds than he was last year, I wonder how the added muscle will affect his play.
