my problem isn't with meat but rather the ways in which it is produced. i have a problem with animals being in tiny pens. then feeding them unnatural diets and pills(eg. Oradexon) to make them fatter. there is space available to keep these animals. they do not need chemicals which can transfer through the meat into humans.
that being said i'm too poor to buy my own meat as i am in school and living off my father. so who am i to crap on others for something i do nothing about myself.
also, manufacturing meat in a lab is just ripe for disaster.
Well that's on you and everybody else for deciding where to buy the
ir meat from.I get my beef from a farm. I buy half a cow and a few weeks later pick it up from a butcher. In what turns out to be more than a years worth of
beef in cuts I get to hand pick I pay between $500 and $600 including cut and wrap. I know the
farmer and I've even helped out around his farm and know how well the
animals are treated. Whatever meat I have left over goes to the
local mission and my deep freeze gets a nice cleaning before I fill that sumbitch up with tasty tasty treats.
money I save it's well worth having to go to the
butchers to pick up a year supply of
meat that I got to hand pick. The
higher quality and better taste are just a bonus.
Quick tip to save even more money. Don't look for organic beef. I could pay almost 25% more for my beef just because it's organic. Ask what the
y give the
animals; if all the
y get are antibiotics and medicine when the
y need the
m it's just as good as organic.
Bottom line is if you don't like how some meat is handled (badumbum) don't stop eating meat because that won't solve the
problem and the
n you'll be meatless. Would you become celibate because the
re are women in the
world who get raped?
