Fungii are a trophic level 5 and should not be considered edible .. however, if one makes a tea with them and then ingests afterwards, I have have heard wonderful experiences can be had ..

Please wait until you have at least three of them before shipping .. it is a long way to town and my dog-sled is short a runner ..

A major difference between eating plants and animals is that plants are very much more alive when ingested and could even be replanted.

Eating raw veggies?

I eat both non-human plants (including the non-human fruits and non-human vegetables that the plants crop) and non-human animals.

Come at me.

"Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure--one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.” (David Rockefeller)

I love plants. Especially green leafy ones. I easily suffer from anemia, so there are times that I can eat a huge big ol' pile of spinach.

But, I see the point about the ethics of eating plants. They are defenseless (mostly) and even the way we waste our food seems awfully calloused. I knew someone who worked in a greenhouse and she had a lot of horror stories.

But, I still love plants and there is nothing better than sucking that green juice from a spinach leaf, IMO.

PS And these days, when you buy bagged salad, you get free frogs, so you're free to enjoy both!

Also, some videos depicting common practices involved in Plant production. Do these practices give us more reason not to support the general practice of killing plants for food?
