Eller got Halak from Montreal. Not a chance they trade him for Raymond who is a pending UFA. Plus they just re-signed Moen, so they won't be trading him either.

In my eyes drouin is overrated he can score in the qmjhl but did nothing in last two gold medal games that canada lost. Fox will be better pro than him talk to me in five yrs

ryan kesler is going to the chicago blackhawks ...       quote me on it

I'd just go for Raymond for Eller straight up.

if they don't go for it oh well.

Huge underpayment....

Raymond, Archibald

Even that probably wouldn't get it done... Eller still has really good potential

Yeah, they wouldn't do that either.

OP, you weren't even close to proper value for what you want back from Montreal.

You probably couldn't even get Eller for all of that.

I'd do Raymond straight up for Moen lol. I'm not sure Raymond has much trade value. Remember, he was offered to Dallas last year for Steve ott and the Stars rejected it. Moen would be perfect for our 3rd/4th lines.

We demolish Montreal in that trade. Eller is better than everything already. Montreal probably wouldn't even do Moen for Raymond alone.
What is the deal with Mike Gillis, it always seems like he's sweating...

What motivation does Montreal have to accept your revised proposal? They lose a young up and coming big center in Eller. A gritty forward who can play anywhere in the lineup and a good young offensive defenceman. In return they get a soft forward who won't fit in their top 6 who is Ida at seasons end. A badly overpaid bottom pairing defenceman. A prospect that will likely never be a full time nhler and a 3rd round pick.

Definitely an underpayment. But I like the new look of our line-up. ;)
