To Anaheim: Kassian + Schroeder + Higgins + 2013 1st (Conditional if Perry signs)

To Vancouver: Perry

Trade would only happen if Perry doesn't want to sign in Anaheim

Thoughts?*Changed Gaunce to Schroeder

As much as I like Perry, that trade takes away 2, potentially 3 top six forwards.

I wouldn't do it for this exact reason

Me either. Two (potentially three) of our best prospects and a solid 2nd/3rd line tweener for a pending UFA that could very easily walk to free agency.

In my eyes drouin is overrated he can score in the qmjhl but did nothing in last two gold medal games that canada lost. Fox will be better pro than him talk to me in five yrs

Gaudreau has one NHL goal whereas all your "prized" prospects have none.

ryan kesler is going to the chicago blackhawks ...       quote me on it

I agree also. I would like to wait and see how Kassian,Schroeder, and that conditional 1st turn out. Not to mention one of our most durable players in Higgins.

Definitely wouldn't give up a 1st rounder considering how deep the draft is.

Would this trade happen at the deadline if Anahien is in a playoff spot and Vancouver out of the playoff?

Take away Kassian or the 1st and I'd do it.
That's a lot to give up for a guy who might not even play longer than 1 year with us.

No, it would't happen. Trading Perry weakens their team when they're trying to win. If it was the other way around, Vancouver wouldn't rent Perry for the post season if we trade away 2 of our best prospects and a 1st in a very deep draft.

Anaheim won't do it, Perry will probably re-sign and this isn't enough value for Perry.

I would do it, if we were to replace Kassian with another prospect.
