The generations one doesn't allow for different timings. My Mom immigrated from Holland, while my Dad was born in Canada.

Same sort of situation for me. My mom was born in Canada, but not my dad. I chose 3 generations because my dad's family came here when he was just a little kid, so he grew up in Canada.

Edit: I think choosing the side that's been here longer is proper convention for talking about number of generations, anyways. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I put my income as my parent's income because I have my name in the company. I work part-time with my framing company and part-time at the office...

I strongly dislike racists and their racist comments and views. One of the bad things about free speech is comments like this one.

Number of generations varies, my Grandfather on my fathers side immigrated from England when he was 13 (1913), my two Great Grandfather on my mothers side came from England and Scotland, other branches I have traced to have been in North America since the early 16th Century, Loyalists who came to Canada pre-US Revolution.
