eretz canucks
To EDM Luongo Higgins 2014 first To Van Hall Magnus PaayarviSvenson this an extremely fair hockey deal, would the GMs be ballsey enough to do it? Hall will have a 6 mill cap hit in 2014 do the Canucks will need to get rid of Raymond to clear dome cap space. I included Higgins because he is the exact type of character forward EDM needs and if we take in Halls salary we won't be able to resign Higgins This of course depends if Luongo would be ok with living in EDM- doubt it

Pears
Fair? If it was Schneider instead of Luongo then yeah maybe but this, no.
n00bxQb
A former #1 pick and a former top 10 pick that's still in his early 20s for a starting goaltender, a 3rd liner, and a first 2 drafts from now? Edmonton wouldn't touch this with a 100 km pole.
eretz canucks
I see where you are coming from, but Hall at 6m will hurt EDM down the road. They have great young forwards, but nothing else. Their secOndary scoring is non existent so is their goaltending. Hall is not going to be an all world player, he has less potential than RNH, eberle and yakupov. The oilers still have Gagner and we give them a first round pick, a chance to grab someone like Jensen. Luongo immediately makes them better and gives them top 5 goaltending in the western conference
Dion Phaneuf
Edmonton rejects. They are high on Hall and in my opinion Luongo won't fetch that type of a return. Potential is huge for Edmonton...

TACIC
To say how bad this is? In NHL 12 it wouldn't happen, so yeah you have a long way to go for Hall

Jägermeister
First of all, Edmonton would never accept it. Second of all, Lu would never want to go to Edmonton.

Pears
Massive overpayment, this would get Gillis fired. Hall will be injured throughout his career and likely retire early, he'll be a 60 point guy until then. Not worth schneids and 2 firsts

eretz canucks
That "60 point" player was on pace for 71 points, 36 goals, last season. At the age of 21, he is already a 1st line forward, and will be an elite player in his career. Schneider would be tradable as we still do have a great goalie in LU still here...
