AriGold
That's what the original re-rates were for. As one of the people in charge of this, I was told to judge this season's re-rates based on last season's performance. If whoever re-rates Nyquist decides to give him a massive bump, I'd be shocked/disappointed.

*VaNcOuVeRCaNuCkS*
RL attributes account for a little bit of the rating process EX: We all now Malkin is a superstar and is expected to put up 100 points a year and possibly 50 or 60 goals, if he puts up 50 points in his 1st season of STHS what would you propose we do

*VaNcOuVeRCaNuCkS*
Good to know. Well, I'll still be disappointed if Nyquist suddenly takes off at 24 years old after a garbage season but it is what it is.

Chimon
If I re-rated Nyquist, he'd probably be around the high 60's/mid-70's range (speaking from a PH, PA, SC, DF standpoint). PO would obviously be diminished. I think he should've started out as someone who could play a top-9 role on the Wings but the team was basically neglected, and you can't really hold that against players. That said, he'll probably be around the low-70's.

AriGold
No reason to get bent out of shape That's all fine but someone will pay Malkin 9 million because they know what he can do If Chimon was to say he is only worth 4 million for putting up 50 points people would have their titties in a knot
Intoewsables
Nyquist won't receive a huge jump in attributes but he will progress just like all prospects should
Crom!
Is one bad year enough to label an 8.0 C prospect a bust though? Also, doesn't being an 8.0 C prospect mean that he has the potential to be a 1st liner but may fall down 2 ratings (so in other words a 2nd/3rd liner)? *VaNcOuVeRCaNuCkS*
Obviously Hockey's Future is all prediction but at 24 I wouldn't be classifying him as a 8.0 C Regardless the 8 means 1st line forward, Top 2 dman or Starting Goalie but the C means he may reach that potential but likely to drop 1 or 2 numbers
