I understand that other players should be in contention but this is just as I see it right now. Realstically i saw upto 10 players for each award but I did 3 per. Sorry if your team didn't get any players picked, nothing personal.

Yeah he is getting up there. He has done well in Ottawa. Hopefully he can pass them. He is playing with one of the top centres (Spezza).

St. Louis officially entering rebuild mode, all players but Pietrangelo could potentially be had.

Brooklyn OTB - Olli Jokinen

Looking for a younger 3rd line player with a decent defensive rating. Olli has 12 points in 32 games as a 3rd line center because there was no room in my top 6.

FO 75, PA 79, SC 85, DF 72

Minnesota Trading Block:

Brian Gionta - RW

He just needs a change of scenery, things just haven't worked out this season.

* I'll only move him for the right deal.

Huge deal on the horizon in Toronto. Leafs may have acquired the #1 centre they have wanted for ages (e4).

As a HUGE fyi to people. If you make a trade and bring in a player who is a pending Free Agent he will likely not be re-signing with you. The player will likely will be a Rental... This isn't 100% for every player but for most of them.

If you get in the playoffs or win a few rounds, or get to the finals or win the cup or give him top line minutes or he does extremly well then your chances are better.

Just trading for a player doesn't mean he will sign with you, the player owes nothing to the new team except to play to the best of his ability. Don't feel like he MUST sign with you...

Thanks ! :)

Edit: Example - I'm currently trading Olli Jokinen, and although i would like to get the most I can, the team getting him in a trade likely won't be signing him unless he does extremely well and gets paid that way.

I'm thinking we should start having 3 stars of the week or top F, Top D and Top G of the week.

What you guys think?

Just a heads up, but using players names that aren't on your team could be considered tampering. I would advise you to take out the players name just to be safe.

You mean, Joe Thornton?

You are not allowed to speak about another player while under contract when it is in a reference to trading or moving or anything of the such.

Saying Sidney Crosby had a unreal game is a different story, Romo Control your AGM.

Good to see love for Hamilton for the Calder.

Not only in the top scorers for rookies as a defenceman, also a +10 without a single minor penalty all season.

Big move for the Penguins today. Best of luck to Joe Thornton in the future, great hockey player and deserves a first line role. Obviously there wasn't much of a future for Jumbo Joe in Pittsburgh and unfortuantly we had to part ways with one of the best centers in the game.

Very excited to get back Jake Gardiner and Vlad Namestnikov, to continue to build a strong group of young hockey players. Both will report to Wilks-Barrie Scranton and will hopefully see some NHL action this season. Justin Williams will slot in right away in our new looked top six. Brandon Sutter will start next game in the 2nd line center role and have high hopes that he can turn his season around.

Finally James Neal will be named the teams second alternate captian.

James Neal [A] - Sidney Crosby [C] - Milan Michalek

Ryane Clowe - Brandon Sutter - Justin Williams

Pascal Dupuis - Matt Cullen - Tyler Kennedy

Ruslan Fedotenko - Colin Fraser - Anthoney Stewart

Craig Adams

Alex Goligoski - Kris Letang

Jeff Petry - Brooks Orpik [A]

Ian White - Simon Despres

Derek Engellend
